moral story
An old man lived alone in an American town. His only son was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son.

Dear Son,

I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year. I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren’t in prison.

Shortly, the old man received this telegram:

‘For Heaven’s sake, Dad, don’t dig up the plot. That’s where I buried the GUNS !!’

At 4 a.m. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns. Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what had happened, and asked him what to do next.

His son’s reply was: ‘Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad. It’s the best I could do for you, from here.’😇

God’s PLAN !!!

God has a plan for your life, and He wants to heal you everywhere you hurt.

God loves you. And because He loves you, He wants the best for your life—restoration and wholeness. That’s why Jesus Christ willingly laid down His life, died, and rose again. His sacrifice has provided the way for us to find and experience the healing and restoration we need.

God has a plan for your life, and He wants to heal you everywhere you hurt. John 10:10 says that Jesus came to give us abundant life, and part of that abundant life is making sure you are healthy and whole—physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally.

But the truth is you cannot “catch” health like you can disease. For example, if you’re around somebody who has a cold, you don’t have to do anything to catch it. You can get it by just by being around them because that’s the nature of sickness and disease. But you can be around a healthy person and you won’t catch their health. You have to choose health.

Choose Life

One of the ways we can choose life is through prayer and by speaking His truth over our lives. I want to help you do that. You can speak these scriptures and confessions over your life to strengthen your faith in God for the healing and wholeness you need.

“God wants to make you whole. He doesn’t want you to spend the rest of your life hurting.”  —Joyce

Think about it like this: If I have a headache, I take an aspirin to get relief from it. I have to swallow the pill for it to work. If I put it on top of my head, it won’t do anything for me. God’s Word is medicine for our spirit, soul and body, and the way we experience its power is by speaking it out loud, praying it to God, meditating on it, and believing it. When you speak His Word over your life, it releases that power into your life. It won’t work for us if we just have a Bible and leave it on the shelf. We have to use it.

God wants to make you whole, and what He’s asking you to do is believe what His Word says more than you believe what you think or how you feel. Keep speaking His Word over your circumstances and in His timing, He’ll complete the good work He’s begun in you!

Applying the Medicine of God’s Word

Depending on your situation, one or more of these scriptures or confessions may apply to a need you are facing right now. Take time to read them, meditate on them, pray them, and memorize the verses that will encourage you to trust God for the healing you need. Or write them down on a note card and carry them with you so you have them on hand wherever you are, whenever you need them.

If the scriptures you need aren’t listed here, search them out in the Bible and make them your confession. As you do, you’ll be amazed at how God’s Word will give you more of the abundant life you can have in Christ, and you’ll experience the wholeness and healing it brings.

More Promises from God’s Word About Healing:

Psalm 30:2
O Lord my God, I cried to You and You have healed me.

Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.

Psalm 107:20
He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction.

Isaiah 58:8
Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

Psalm 34:15, 17
The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to their cry. When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.

Psalm 46:1
God is our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.

John 10:10
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

a song of inspiration for the broken hearted…
Are you tired of chasing pretty rainbows? Are you tired of spinning round and round? Wrap up all those shattered dreams of your life And at the feet of Jesus, lay them down.

Give them all, give them all, give them all to Jesus Shattered dreams, wounded hearts, and broken toys. Give them all, give them all, give them all to Jesus And He will turn your sorrows into joy.

He never said you only see sunshine, He never said there would be no rain. He only promised a heart full of singing About the very thing that once brought pain.

To Build a Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge that spans the river tying Manhattan Island to Brooklyn is truly a miracle bridge. In 1863, a creative engineer named John Roebling was inspired by an idea for this spectacular bridge. However, bridge-building experts throughout the world told him to forget it; it could not be done.

Roebling convinced his son, Washington, who was a young upand coming engineer, that the bridge could be built. The two of them developed the concepts of how it could be accomplished and how the obstacles could be overcome. With un harnessed excitement and inspiration, they hired their crew and began to build their dream bridge.

The project was only a few months under construction when a tragic accident on the site took the life of John Roebling and severely injured his son, Washington. Washington was left with permanent brain damage and was unable to talk or walk. Everyone felt that the project would have to be scrapped since the Roeblings were the only ones who knew how the bridge could be built.

Even though Washington was unable to move or talk, his mind was as sharp as ever, and he still had a burning desire to complete the bridge. An idea hit him as he lay in his hospital bed, and he developed a code for communication. All he could move was one finger, so he touched the arm of his wife with that finger, tapping out the code to communicate to her what to tell the engineers who were building the bridge. For thirteen years, Washington tapped out his instructions with his finger until the spectacular Brooklyn Bridge was finally completed.

Worship !!! HOW???

Worship !!! HOW???
praise the Lord,

worship openly it will break all bondages,

in Acts 16 when we hear about Paul and Silas praising in prison do you know what made the miracle happen, do you know what made the prison walls quake and what made the chains break free,
it is true that it was the power of God…and power of worship,

but the secret to activate that power is in the following verse :-

Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

when we worship and people are witnesses to our worship,
not only our bondages are broken but those who are witnessing us worship they too are set free in Jesus name..

Acts 16:26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

as believers let’s worship Jesus in public lifting Him high above anyone or anything else, and we’ll see our bondages break free and people too looking at us will be set free, and from the crowd we’ll get souls saved into the kingdom of God..

praise the Lord

ANTI – Christ like

on one hand we Christians are presenting our faith as a faith of adultery, alcoholism, nudity, and sin whch we call as culture, on the other hand we expect people to respect our faith, some Christians are mutilating the faith and some are being mutilated for keeping the faith.

some should stop living at the cost of other’s expense

above all

stop living a hypocritical Christian life at the expense of some believer dying a martyr for the faith you n I are living,

let’s bring the change.

Live life the Jesus way

God approved penance

God approved penance
Greetings in the name of our risen and soon coming Jesus Christ.!!

The Christian world around is in a moment of penance and act of repentance.

however the bitter truth is that, many of us would end this lent period fasting and doing a lot of penance but everything would be just an act rather than the reality of Godliness and true Christ like nature in us.

so, what kind of penance and fasting is Jesus looking at in us?

1. Matthew 6:16-18

“Whenever you fast, do not put on a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they neglect their appearance so that they will be noticed by men when they are fasting Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. “But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

looking around we see people enacting the “pious” but when you flip through the pages of their life, we see darkness and dirt and hatred and unforgiving attitude filled to the brim.

We need to understand one important fact when we start to fast and go through the entire act of penance.

our fasting and religious penance should benefit us but it should affect our surrounding more.

don’t stop eating but stop hating..

don’t just give money but make a difference in someone’s life..

don’t just pray but bring a change in your life..

don’t propagand the great deal of fasting you’re doing, because

“if you’ve prayed and fasted but not changed
be sure you’ve NOT PRAYED AT ALL”

this lent let us try to be a change to someone by forgiving someone whom we’ve never been able to forgive.

let’s try being the answer to someone’s prayer.

Reach out to someone.

if this Easter someone comes and thanks you for the change in you.

your lent is successful and you’re ready for the resurrection.
