Praise the Lord
Christmas is not about Santa n his gifts, Christmas trees, snowman, and food or merry making… So I’m sorry i can’t wish you Merry Christmas,
But True Christmas is about a King,
A God who chose to pay the ultimate sacrifice on the cross as a gift to deliver me and you from sin and slavery to sin,
It’s about that tree out of which the old rugged cross was made, it’s about resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
Christmas was the plan for Calvary.
So my wish for you all is a blessed and happy Christmas… May today be centered around Jesus and may we reflect Him through us…

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room’s only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.
Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.
The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.
As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by.
Although the other man couldn’t hear the band – he could see it. In his mind’s eye as the gentleman by th! e window portrayed it with descriptive words.
Days and weeks passed.
One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.
As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.
He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.
It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window
The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.
She said, “Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.”
Be the encourager.. Lift others
8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
All of us want to be the good soil which brings forth much fruit, but little do we realize that even the good soil bore 30%, 60%, 100% fruit.
So let’s decide whether we want to be the 30%, 60% or do we want to be the 100% fruit bearing soil..
God bless you
May you bring forth much fruit in Jesus name.
Luke 8:4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: 8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. 8:6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. 8:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. 8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Somebody once asked a Christian friend, “I can’t understand you Christians because India is the home of many religions that it is an exceedingly religious country .Why then do you introduce yet another religion and add to the confusion? Surely, India has enough religions.”
The *Christian* friend answered, “Friend, I’m *not interested in religion*, but I’m *deeply interested in the Gospel*. I would not walk across the streets for religion, but I’m willing to go around the world for the sake of the Gospel. There is a difference between the two.”
*Religion is man made; the Gospel is God given*,
Religion is what man does for God; the Gospel is what God has done for man,
Religion is man’s search for God; the *Gospel* is God’s search for man,
Religion is man trying to climb the ladder of his own self-righteousness, with the hope of meeting God at the topmost rung; the Gospel is God coming down the ladder of the incarnation of Jesus Christ and meeting us as sinners at the lowest rung (forming the steps of a ladder),
*Religion is good views; the Gospel is good news*.
Religion is good advice; the Gospel is glorious announcement.
Religion takes a man leaves him as he is; the Gospel takes a man as he is and makes him what he ought to be.
Religion ends in an outer reformation; the Gospel ends in an inner *transformation*.
Religion white washes; the Gospel washes white.
Religion often becomes a farce; the Gospel is always a force, the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes.
*There are many religions, but only one Gospel.*

An old man lived alone in an American town. His only son was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son.
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year. I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren’t in prison.
Shortly, the old man received this telegram:
‘For Heaven’s sake, Dad, don’t dig up the plot. That’s where I buried the GUNS !!’
At 4 a.m. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns. Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what had happened, and asked him what to do next.
His son’s reply was: ‘Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad. It’s the best I could do for you, from here.’😇
NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD, IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART, YOU CAN DO IT. IT IS THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS, NOT WHERE YOU ARE.
God has a plan for your life, and He wants to heal you everywhere you hurt.
God loves you. And because He loves you, He wants the best for your life—restoration and wholeness. That’s why Jesus Christ willingly laid down His life, died, and rose again. His sacrifice has provided the way for us to find and experience the healing and restoration we need.
God has a plan for your life, and He wants to heal you everywhere you hurt. John 10:10 says that Jesus came to give us abundant life, and part of that abundant life is making sure you are healthy and whole—physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally.
But the truth is you cannot “catch” health like you can disease. For example, if you’re around somebody who has a cold, you don’t have to do anything to catch it. You can get it by just by being around them because that’s the nature of sickness and disease. But you can be around a healthy person and you won’t catch their health. You have to choose health.
One of the ways we can choose life is through prayer and by speaking His truth over our lives. I want to help you do that. You can speak these scriptures and confessions over your life to strengthen your faith in God for the healing and wholeness you need.
“God wants to make you whole. He doesn’t want you to spend the rest of your life hurting.” —Joyce
Think about it like this: If I have a headache, I take an aspirin to get relief from it. I have to swallow the pill for it to work. If I put it on top of my head, it won’t do anything for me. God’s Word is medicine for our spirit, soul and body, and the way we experience its power is by speaking it out loud, praying it to God, meditating on it, and believing it. When you speak His Word over your life, it releases that power into your life. It won’t work for us if we just have a Bible and leave it on the shelf. We have to use it.
God wants to make you whole, and what He’s asking you to do is believe what His Word says more than you believe what you think or how you feel. Keep speaking His Word over your circumstances and in His timing, He’ll complete the good work He’s begun in you!
Applying the Medicine of God’s Word
Depending on your situation, one or more of these scriptures or confessions may apply to a need you are facing right now. Take time to read them, meditate on them, pray them, and memorize the verses that will encourage you to trust God for the healing you need. Or write them down on a note card and carry them with you so you have them on hand wherever you are, whenever you need them.
If the scriptures you need aren’t listed here, search them out in the Bible and make them your confession. As you do, you’ll be amazed at how God’s Word will give you more of the abundant life you can have in Christ, and you’ll experience the wholeness and healing it brings.
More Promises from God’s Word About Healing:
O Lord my God, I cried to You and You have healed me.
Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction.
Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
Psalm 34:15, 17
The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to their cry. When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.
God is our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
